She was engaging, funny, and provided practical tips and tricks for extracting data from technical professionals. Here is a little insight into some of the many takeways we gleaned from her session:
Content generation, whether for a proposal, presentation or social media posts , is something marketers are tasked with every day. But obtaining information from our technical teams in order to create …Read More »

The Kick-Off: A New SMPS Year

Last Week SMPS Research Triangle kicked off their 2015-2016 year at Tyler’s Taproom in downtown Raleigh. Can you believe the last program was in May? Kim Fowler, this year’s President, welcomed the crowd and shared the chockfull events calendar, new website initiative and our theme for this year – Share the Vision. She also invited everyone to share their SMPS story with us. There’s obviously a lot in store for …Read More »

NC DB and PPP QBS Experts

After September’s program these acronyms mean so much more. James Smith, Executive Director of ACEC/NC, and David Crawford, Executive Vice President of AIA/NC gave us the lowdown when it comes to NC House Bill 857. Passed last year, this authorized three new delivery methods for non-transportation projects in NC – design-build, design-build-bridging and public private partnerships. It also strengthened qualifications based selection by removing some of the loopholes. Next up on the agenda was NC House Bill 1043 – passed …Read More »
