In the AEC industry it can be difficult to find the optimal formula to engage both marketing and business development teams to efficiently drive revenue in the door. During this program we will hear a case study from one of the fastest growing private firms in the United States over the past six years, according to Inc. Magazine. Sara Snavely and Tim Klabunde with Timmons Group will share how they leverage marketing and business development to exponentially drive revenues, and the proven structure and philosophy that you can implement at your firm to create an effective marketing and business development machine.

Sara Snavely, CPSM

Sara Snavely, CPSM is a business development manager for Timmons Group where she helps build relationships and brand awareness in their North Carolina markets. After graduating from Hillsdale College with a degree in marketing/business management, Sara fell into the AEC industry (imagine that…) where she quickly worked her way from an admin to marketing to a business development role. Sara is an expert in relationship building and relating it to multi-channel marketing that supports it. Sara plays an active role in her SMPS community (Charlotte chapter), serving as Co-Director of Programs and obtaining her CPSM certification.

Tim Klabunde

Tim is a Fellow from Johns Hopkins University and Principal of Timmons Group, an ENR Top 500 design firm. An avid writer and speaker, Tim has been published and quoted in numerous publications including the Washington Business Journal, Engineering News Record, CE News, Business Owner Magazine, and Marketer.  In his role as Director of Marketing at Timmons Group the firm has seen unprecedented growth, landing the firm on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Companies for the first time in the firm’s 62-year history. Tim is an Amazon Best Selling author of Network Like an Introvert.
