
Beth Stout is the Environmental Services Business Development Manager of Froehling & Robertson, Inc. (F&R). F&R is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that provides clients a full range of environmental and geotechnical engineering services and full-service materials testing and special inspections. Beth has previously served the Chapter on the Programming Committee in 2008-2009, as Director at Large in 2009-2010, and Programs Chair and Interim President=Elect in 2010-2011. Beth was also Co-Chair of the On-Site Logistics Committee for the SMPS Southeastern Regional Conference in 2009 when it was held in Raleigh. Beth earned her CPSM certification in March 2010.
Meg Barham is the Marketing Manager for the Raleigh-Durham office of Thorburn Associates. Thorburn Associates provides integrated acoustical, audiovisual, security, structured cabling, and performance lighting systems design. Meg holds a Bachelors Degree of Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been actively involved with SMPS since entering the industry, serving on the Social Planning Committee for the SMPS Southeast Regional Conference in 2009. She served on the board as treasurer from 2009 - 2011 as Treasurer.
Alma
Montemayor, CPSM
Alma Montemayor is employed at Moffat & Nichol and has been in the A/E/C industry for over 10 years and has been a member of SMPS for six years. She has served on the Board in various roles, including Director of Education and Outreach, President-Elect, and President. Alma received her CPSM designation in 2007. In 2009, she served as Social Co-Chair for the SMPS Southeast Regional Conference.
Pat
Perkins
Pat Perkins is the Marketing Coordinator for O'Brien Atkins Associates, one of North Carolina's premier architectural and engineering design service firms. Pat is responsible for all the firm's marketing activities including proposals, presentations, marketing communications and collateral as well as providing business development support. In 1998, Pat was named an Associate of the firm. She has been a member of SMPS for 17 years, serving at various times as Chapter Director at Large, Program Committee Member, Program Moderator and Panelist, and several terms as Chapter Secretary, most recently from 2010 - 2012.
Lauren Smith is the Marketing Coordinator for Lappas + Havener, a landscape architectural firm committed to design, stewardship and craft. She has previously served on the Programming Committee, SMPS Southeast Regional Conference Social Planning Committee, as Director of Programming for the 2009 - 2010 year, and as Director at Large for the 2010-2011 year. Lauren has been a member of SMPS for five years and earned her CPSM designation in April 2010.
Tracy Russell
Tracy Russell is Marketing Coordinator for Stewart Engineering, Inc. Stewart is a multi-discipline design firm that specializes in land development, structural, geotechnical and transportation engineering, surveying / geomatics and construction services. Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from North Carolina State University. She has worked in the A/E/C field since 2008 and has been an active member of SMPS, serving on the Communications Committee for one year and the Programs Committee for two years. Tracy is currently serving on the Board as the Director of Programs.
Kim Fowler is the Marketing Coordinator for SmithGroup’s Durham Office. Since joining the firm in 2007, she has been responsible for all marketing and public relations activity for the office. Kim joined SMPS in 2007 and has been a regular attendee of events and meetings. She served on the Communications Committee in 2010, assisting with the design and production of mailers, updating the contact list, and helping with other tasks when needed.
Brigette Welton is the Marketing Manager in Dewberry’s Raleigh, North Carolina, office. Dewberry is a leading professional services firm with a proven history of providing architecture, engineering, and management and consulting services to public- and private-sector clients. Brigette manages pursuit and proposal efforts, provides guidance in strategic planning alongside the leadership team, and engages in partnership development. With more than 15 years of experience, Welton has extensive marketing knowledge within the engineering industry. She has served on the Membership Committee since 2008 and as the Co-Chair of On-Site Logistics for the SMPS Southeastern Regional Conference in 2009.
Brandon Ives is a managing partner with Brasco Design+Marketing. Brasco is a creative services, web and online marketing firm focused on strategic sales and marketing services. He is an active member of SMPS Triangle and has experience working in business development and marketing in the A/E/C industry. He previously held the position of Director of Communications.
Brynn Dutton is the Marketing Director for Roughton Nickelson De Luca (RND) Architects in Durham, NC. She is responsible for RND's corporate marketing and business development activities in the healthcare, municipal, higher education, and commercial markets. Brynn has previously served on the SMPS Triangle Board as President, President-Elect, Past-President, Director of Education and Outreach, and Director at Large. In 2009, she served as Social Co-Chair for the SMPS Southeast Regional Conference.
Glenda Owens Bastress began her A/E/C industry career in Raleigh for Brasfield & Gorrie more than nine years ago and currently is the Raleigh office Marketing Manager. She also brings more than 25 years of marketing experience in the form of Television Broadcast Promotion as a producer and Advertising Agency work as a media buyer and creative director to SMPS. Glenda served as the co-chair of the SMPS Southeast Regional conference in 2009 and worked on the sponsorship committee three years prior. She has been a member of SMPS for nine years.
