
Melissa Callaway,
MBA, CPSM
Melissa Callaway is a Marketing Coordinator III for Brown and Caldwell’s Raleigh office. She has worked in the A/E/C field since 2002 and has been an active member of SMPS, previously serving on the Board as the Director of Communications and President-Elect. Melissa recently earned her CPSM designation at the SERC in March 2009.

Alma Kenner is employed at Moffat & Nichol and has been in the A/E/C industry for over eight years and has been a member of SMPS for four years. She previously served on the Board for two years as Director of Education and Outreach and received her CPSM designation in 2007. In 2009, she served as Social Co-Chair for the SMPS Southeast Regional Conference.
Brynn Dutton
Brynn Dutton is the Marketing Director for Roughton Nickelson De Luca (RND) Architects in Durham, NC. She is responsible for RND’s corporate marketing and business development activities in the healthcare, municipal, higher education and commercial markets. Brynn has previously served on the SMPS Board as President, President-Elect, and Director of Education and Outreach. In 2009, she served as Social Co-Chair for the SMPS Southeast Regional Conference.
Pat
Perkins
Pat Perkins is the Marketing Coordinator for O’Brien Atkins Associates, one of North Carolina’s premier architectural and engineering design service firms. Pat is responsible for all the firm’s marketing activities including proposals, presentations, marketing communications and collateral as well as providing business development support. In 1998, Pas was named an Associate of the firm. Pat has been a member of SMPS for 15 years; she has served two two-year terms as the Chapter Secretary, most recently 2006-2008.
Meg Barham is the Marketing Coordinator for the Raleigh-Durham office of Thorburn Associates. Thorburn Associates provides integrated acoustical, audiovisual, security, structured cabling, and performance lighting systems design. Meg holds a Bachelors Degree of Communications Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has been actively involved with SMPS since entering the industry, serving on the Social Planning Committee for the SMPS Southeast Regional Conference in 2009.
Brandon Ives leads the Business Development and Marketing efforts for RMF Engineering, Inc. in their North Carolina office. RMF Engineering is a nationally recognized, full service consulting firm specializing in building systems and infrastructure engineering. Since entering the A/E/C industry, Brandon has remained actively involved with SMPS. Brandon is serving his second year as Director of Communications.
Shan-te Johnson graduated from North Carolina A&T University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She has been involved in the A/E industry for nearly a decade, mainly in marketing and business development. She currently serves as the MACTEC Raleigh office Business Development Manger. Shan-te is serving her second year as Director of Membership.

Lauren Smith is the Marketing Coordinator for Lappas + Havener, PA. Lappas + Havener is a landscape architectural firm providing architectural site design, comprehensive master planning, urban design, community, and recreational planning. Lauren has been in the A/E/C industry and a member of SMPS for three years, and she served on the Programming Committee for the 2008-2009 program year.
Beth
StoutBeth Stout has been the Business Development Manager for the Raleigh Branch office of Froehling & Robertson, Inc. (F&R) for three years. F&R is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that provides clients a full range of services including construction materials testing and geotechnical and environmental engineering. Prior to joining F&R, Beth served as the Chief Environmental Consultant for Engineering & Environmental Science Company (E2S). She served on the Programming Committee for the 2008-2009 program year and as the Co-Chair of On-Site Logistics for the SMPS Southeastern Regional Conference.
